Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Here we have some handmade goods to help make your home feel warm and cozy for the holiday! There's no better way to spread Thanksgiving cheer than decorating your home and apartment for all your neighbors and guests to see. Wreaths have held symbolism since ancient times, and now they decorate homes in celebration of the season. What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you picture a holiday wreath? Is it the lush foliage? Is it the berries and vegetables that are speckled throughout? Ribbons? Sparkles? Big bows? Whatever you may associate with wreaths, I doubt you thought of metal. This wreath is made of galvanized metal, giving it a rustic look. The buffalo ribbon keeps it beautiful and dainty (but if buffalo ribbon is not your thing, you could always have it customized!). There is just enough festivity and ornament without it being too busy. It is available with the words Gather or Welcome, so you could have a completely one-of-a-kind wreath that will have everyone talking (in a good way, or course). Hang it inside for a comfortable feel or outside for your neighbors to marvel at. It would look amazing in most styles of home including, but not exclusive to rustic, barnyard, country chic, French farmhouse, and industrial homes. If these don't match your styles, however, this wreath would still look awesome contrasted against modern, mid-century, and contemporary homes. Having a wreath on your front door sets the tone for the night to come, so give them something beautiful and festive to get them in the celebrating mood. Handmade by Loves House of Burlap

We are thrilled to be featuring Gusto Graphic Tees, a graphic design and screen printing small shop located in Austin, TX! Gusto Graphic Tees is quite the creative company, designing unique state pride and love t-shirts, tanks, stickers and buttons. A few of their designs are humorous while others are straight up full of love and happiness. Owner, Kelli Holtman, originally worked at a graphic design company for 12 years and as most people, she was eventually burned out by the mundane, day to day activities and wanted to enjoy her career as a graphic designer. One interesting night, she had a vivid dream that she speaking to her father. He challenged her to do what she felt was best and stated in her dream, “Go For The Gusto Kelli, make yourself happy, do what you want to do because life is short!” Soon after, she and her wife signed up for a few screen printing classes and thereafter, sparked up the excitement to start up Gusto Graphic Tees. Like most designers, they created designs using photoshop and showed them around to a few local stores. The couple received amazing responses and support along the way but of course, Kelli's wife was the strongest supporter of them all. And now, two years later Kelli is still running with it, doing exactly what she loves, and always thinking back to that very visual dream - forever thankful to her father for showing her the sign. For this very reason, we are honored to share this inspirational story behind what became of Gusto Graphic Tees and of curse, a few awesome products from this sweet small shop. Check out the list of boutiques and shops here. Let's take a trip down memory lane and look at fashion and lifestyle from the past! We are showcasing vintage pieces from decades you may know and love. Everyone has had a windbreaker at some point in their life. It was almost a rite of passage for every teen and young adult to have colorful and geometric clothing in the 80's and 90's. If you couldn't be Kelly from Saved by the Bell, at least you could dress like her, and a patterned jacket was a must. This trend died out in the 2000's, but has since come back with a vengeance, much to the dismay of embarrassed adults who had hoped that their nylon nightmare had been left in the past. Modern fashion, especially for men, consists of muted colors like beiges and browns (thanks, Kanye), so it seems strange that these neon accessories have had a revival amongst the youth. But trust me, these jackets are so cool. If there's any way to spice up your outfit and take it to the next level, a windbreaker is totally the way to go. It's fun to be able to play around with colors and fabrics in such a bold way. This vintage windbreaker is absolutely fabulous! It is turquoise with mauve and geometric patches. The fabric has this marvelous sheen to it that plays with the light beautifully. Even with the age that comes with vintage clothing, the colors are so vibrant, but not too overwhelming. This windbreaker would look fantastic with a white t-shirt or a pair of distressed denim shorts. The best part is that the design allows it to be wearable in different conditions. You could wear it over a crop top or turtleneck, so you definitely get your money's worth. Buying from a vintage shop is also much easier on the budget. Companies try to sell windbreakers for hundreds of dollars (I wish I was kidding), but buying vintage more reasonable and often have the same, if not better quality than their expensive counterparts. You also can't replicate the authenticity of a real 90's windbreaker! Interzone Vntg offers an enormous range of both original and reworked vintage clothing. If you're not ready to rock a shiny neon piece of clothing in public just yet, they have many other jackets and parkas you could choose from!
